It’s been a hell of a first week at the new job.

The last 30 minutes or so of the week more happened than in the entirety of the week prior. Gathered some very interesting data from some very interesting people. A Zabbix setup I was struggling with all week finally came together as well. That was good. It seemed to impress all the right people in all the right ways. This is going to be an interesting ride. Additionally, I was tipped off to a path that will in theory take off nearly half of my commute time going forward until I move. That’ll be pretty sweet I believe.

Sweet. Apparently they had to dig them out in some places due to scabbing. Good times man, good times.

Eh … it’ll pass I think. Just need to find the best route. Still working that out. I hope this was a good idea. Damn.

Stitches went in. All was well. My boy is pretty sweet. He took the stitches like a damn man.

Taking my first born to the ER to get his first stitches! I’m all excited!

Today’s been pretty nuts. Got kicked by some drunk asshole. He did it while I was pulling the stretcher out of the unit with him handcuffed on it. Probably not the brightest thing in the world for dude man to do, but he made out alright none the less.

That’s never good.

My brother came by to get a bunch of documents scanned to resolve some insanity that happened while he was on vacation. More details once the litigation is over. It’s going to be a bumpy ride I suspect.
