I did the boy’s birthday party today, and after that was done I took both the boys to another kid’s birthday party.

Good times man, good times!

These kids a nuts from the sugar. I suspect they will never sleep again.

Nearly in the new place. Doing the boy’s birthday this weekend, cause we will be in the middle of a move next weekend when it actually is.

Alright so out at the farm last night, I wound up loosing track of time. I was out in a field playing baseball with the boys when I realized it was 2130. They are usually in bed by 2000 and we were over an hour away from home. I don’t think they were both in bed/asleep utill after midnight. Heh. These things happen, eh?

Sweet. Apparently they had to dig them out in some places due to scabbing. Good times man, good times.

Stitches went in. All was well. My boy is pretty sweet. He took the stitches like a damn man.

Taking my first born to the ER to get his first stitches! I’m all excited!

Taught my boy some basic baseball stuff tonight. He got a bat and ball earlier in the day at an amusement park. I was throwing it and he’d hit it. He’s pretty damn good. Damn.

I got my new bike. It’s a whole lot bigger and heavier than my old one. It’s also a whole shit ton more powerful. I’ll prolly get a picture or two up here in a bit. That’s the theory at least.

I drove directly from the shop, up to the firehouse. I got there in time for our membership drive which didn’t go as well as planned. Attendance was poor to say the least. Maybe we will do better next time, eh?

After the membership drive, we did our annual crayfish boil. We’ve got a contingent of folks from Louisiana who know how to cook up all that Cajun insanity. We had quite the turn out for that and a great time was had by all.

I need a vacation. Heh. I guess I just got back from the Disney insanity, eh? I think I need to do something with less people. Maybe a cabin in the woods with a lake or some insanity like that would be a good idea?
I found a decent website with vacation rentals that I might end up using to that end. I’d dig being able to do that before the move, but I don’t see that happening. Too much shit going on as far as I can tell. We shall see, I guess.

Looks like this place has rentals available all over the country. The question is how far do I want to go. How much time is reasonable try and keep the kids in their car seats and happy?

My oldest got his Orange belt today, and I took them both out for ice cream. Good times.
