It would appear that the credit those bastards gave me was not for the full amount. So at this point, I’m already out return shipping and they won’t refund the full purchase price.  Fucking asshats.

They are at this point, NOT sending me a new helicopter, but will credit my credit card in about a week.

You know, cause even though they can take money instantly it takes a week to give it back. Fuckers. Period.

Alrighty, so the latest is that in theory they shipped me the new craft on Tuesday. I have no idea if that actually happened or not, cause they never emailed me the tracking number they promised they would send me. Fuckers.

I got an email back from them today advising that someone will call me in the next 1-2 business days, or I can call them between noon and 1800PST to deal with the ‘issue’.

WTF?

I responded that there isn’t really anything to talk about. That I sent it back to them after being told I’d get a refund. They then offered an exchange, which I accepted. Done. Nothing else to discuss.

I let them know that they could either email me back with a tracking number for my new helicopter or refund my money. That I didn’t care which, but for them to do one or the other today.

I guess we shall see what that gets me, eh?

So on the phone with ExceedRC, I was informed that they could not offer an exchange. They could do a refund, but no exchange. I clued the guy in as to how that was not in their best interest, but in the end I rolled with it.

The package arrived with them on Friday. I emailed them on Friday just to get an update and to confirm they got it.

Today I get a response. The response is to ask me if I want an exchange or a refund. I decide to throw caution to the wind and roll with an exchange. Wish me luck, eh?

The helicopter I never could get off the ground, had been UPSed back home. In theory it’ll arrive today and I’ll get a refund on that thing. I’ll report back when I’ve got cash in hand.

I’ve got my helicopter on the way back to the manufacturer. More on that later. I’m a sad panda.

Additionally, I went to try out the latest nugget from those fucking assholes and discovered that the battery to my RC helicopter has turned up missing.

Great. I guess I’ll need to get a new one or something. Damn it.

Got an email back from those fucking assholes. They gave me one more thing to try. I’ll try that tonight to see if it’s worth anything. We shall see.

Additionally, got up at the right time today so that’s good. Day 8 on that front. As far as the no fast food thing is going, I had Chipotle  last night. I didn’t consider that fast food. I’ve been defining fast food by a drive through and/or deep fryer. I don’t count this as a failure though I might put chipotle into the fast food catagory and avoid it for the duration.

I think I’m on day 4 or so of that run.

I think the 0530 thing may be effecting me more than I’d like. I have not been going to bed earlier to compensate for the early rising, though I think my body may soon rebel and force me to do so. My concern is that last night I slept through the alarm at the firehouse going off. It was for a call another unit was going on so it didn’t matter, but the alarm was no different than if it had been for me. Not good. Hnmn …

I’ve mailed the ExceedRC people yet again trying to get some help getting my helicopter off the ground. Yet again they have been zero help. Those fucking wankers. These guys have been of ZERO help in dealing with the issues of one of their products. That have been nothing by a thorn in my side and a pain in my dick.
